NCC OFFERS OLYMPIC HOUSING WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE
Northwest Christian College will host 100 or so family and friends of athletes competing in the 2008 U.S. Olympic Team Trials--Track & Field at the University of Oregon's Hayward Field, Friday, June 27 through Saturday, July 6, 2008.
"With our convenient proximity to Hayward Field, we wanted to offer track and field fans the opportunity to stay close to the competition and take advantage of the opportunities offered on the NCC and UO campuses," said David Wilson, president of NCC. "We're pleased to play a small role in welcoming people to Eugene for what promises to be an exciting event."
NCC is making 53 dorm rooms and nine apartments available during the Trials. A continental breakfast is also served daily for those staying at the college. So far, 45 rooms have been booked. Room rates are $70 per night, double occupancy, for a two-bed dormitory room with a minimum of a two-night stay, while the Mom Richart Apartments are $150 per night for a minimum of five nights with parking included. Affordable Housing for the 2008 U.S. Olympic Track and Field Trials
Northwest Christian College (NCC) is located adjacent to the University of Oregon campus and is within walking distance to Hayward Field. NCC has made affordable housing available in both dormitory and apartment style accommodations.
Dormitory lodging is clean, safe, and comfortable. The rooms are spacious and include two twin beds, desks with chairs, dressers, and closets. The residence hall is a three story building with rooms on the second and third floors. There is no elevator in the building and no handicap accessible rooms are available. Each hall has a shared community restroom and shower. There is no air conditioning, however Eugene summer nights in June and July are typically comfortable. Normal hotel amenities are not provided. Each room will have sheets, blankets, pillows, and towels upon check in, fresh linens will be provided every five days. Fresh linens will be available daily for an additional charge. Maid service and toiletries are not available, so remember to bring your own toiletries. No pets, smoking, or alcohol allowed on the premises. Dormitory rooms are $35 a night per person, double occupancy or $55 a night per person for a single dormitory room. There is a three day minimum stay required. A lost-key charge of $50 will be passed along to any reservation holder not returning his/her key upon check out. Full payment must be received prior to check-in.

Payment Information - All room reservations require a credit card to process your reservation. Your credit card is required as a guarantee and will be charged in advance of your arrival. All changes to your reservation must be made by May 30, 2008. Reservations are non-transferable, and you will be asked to show a picture ID upon arrival. Date changes will be made on a space available basis.
Continental breakfast is provided each day, other meals are not provided or available.
Parking is available for dormitory lodging by reservation at $10 per day. Parking is included with the apartments.

Check in time is 3:00 pm at the Business Office which is located at 828 E 11th Avenue
Check out time is 1:00 pm; a lost-key charge of $50 will be passed along for keys not returned to the Business Office.
