NORTHWEST CHRISTIAN COLLEGE LIBRARY HOSTS THE ANNUAL FRIENDS OF THE LIBRARY BANQUET

EUGENE, Ore. –February 26, 2007-Northwest Christian College-

Northwest Christian College Kellenberger Library “Friend’s of the Library” will host their annual banquet on Friday March 2, 2007.  This year’s keynote speaker is Bob Welch, Register Guard columnist and award-winning author, speaking on the topic: "A Pebble in the Water: Making a Difference in the World."

The Friends of the Library participate in volunteer projects that enrich the Kellenberger Library’s special collections. They also sponsor lectures and events designed to uplift the library’s spiritual and cultural heritage, and raise funds for special projects such as the restoration of the library's rare Bible collection.

The banquet will begin at 6:00 PM in Northwest Christian College’s Burke-Griffeth banquet room.
