NORTHWEST CHRISTIAN COLLEGE WELCOMES ITS LARGEST SPRING SEMESTER COHORT FOR THE PROFESSIONAL STUDIES PROGRAM
EUGENE, Ore. –February 23, 2007-Northwest Christian College-
Northwest Christian College’s 519 student enrollment is the largest since the founding of the college 112 years ago in 1895, and the enrollment is still growing. On January 30, 2007, 76 students entered Northwest Christian College’s professional studies program. This number is nearly three times the number of students (27) who started the program in spring 2006.
The program is designed “to meet students where they are,” said Michael Fuller, Vice President of Student Development and Enrollment. The professional studies program, led by Colleen Ramos, has undergone recent renovations. In the past, students needed a set, minimum number of credits prior to enrollment. Now, under Ramos’ leadership, the admissions department eliminated the minimum, and students can apply with any number of credits.
