Northwest Christian College held its 12th annual golf invitational as a fundraiser for NCC’s athletic department.

163 golfers played through Springfield Country Club’s 18 holes. Four challenge holes allowed participants a chance to win prizes if their ball landed on the green. One hole offered golfers the opportunity to win a new car. Each golfer received a goody bag including a coupon for a free pizza, tees, drinks, and a NCC/Chamber’s Construction golf vest. The invitational was followed by a dinner in the club house. Raffle tickets were available and more than 30 prizes were given during the meal.

The winners of the tournament came in at 16 under par. Each member of the winning foursome received a gift certificate to the Oregon Electric Station Restaurant.

The invitational raised over $22,600 for NCC’s athletic department. A 48% increase over the previous year.
